There is no tajweed in adhkaar [reciting the AUTHENTIC rememberances of Allah] You just simply utter them while reflecting on their meanings like when one says, "Subhaana Allah" what should come to mind is "How free is Allah from every naqs [defficiency] and aybe [deffect]. Just as Allah says, "Subhaana Allah Ammaa Yasifoon" "And how free is Allah from what they attribute to Allah" When the kuffar and the mushriks either attributed a son or a daughter to Allah or lied on Allah. Like Al-hamdulillah the alif lam is to make something specific by adding the definite article Al which tufeedul istighraaq [all encompassing] meaning every type of praise which excludes nothing is for Allah alone and no one else. We should be in awe of Allah when we remember him. Likewise Allahu Akbar, Akbar is on the wazin [level] of Ismu Tafdheel [this indicates that one thing has virtue over and above another thing when it is mentioned in the expression] for example, If we wanted to say Ahmad is taller than zaid we would say, "Ahmad Atwaalu min Zaid" This is an example of Ismu Tafdheel. Now when the thing that is being qualified as lesser than the the aforementioned one with the most virtues then that means that nothing is greater. So when we say Allahu Akbar and nothing else is mentioned after Allahu Akbar it means any and everything that you can imagine from the stars, the moon and the sun and planets and galaxies and what ever else you can imagine, Allah is greater than that. So I ask the believers, is it befitting that the dhikr should be rushed as if the only thing that matters is completing the dhikr? Im sure you may have witnessed this, Allahul Must'aan
