to allow new users to send pm's

very frustrating for me as a new user!
 
no 50 is too much, it encourages users to use the forum for a day and then not bother again.

when i first start using a discussion what makes me stay is communicating thru pm's.

a user on here messaged me via pm, i wrote out a long reply only to get a message saying i cant send messages!

You are almost at 50 so I don't know why you are so frustrated about it now, and when u reply to this post u'll be 3 posts way from the limit!

To tell you the truth, I don't understand how hard it is for anyone NOT to get 50 posts. On the other hand,this forum is huge

how can anyone not attribute 50 posts? :X

I agree it's totally frustrating.. A new user gets a message saying they need 50 posts to become full members..so get posting.. then when u start posting u get a warning for posting to increase your count! The mind boggles!
 
it also encourages users to post poor quality things, why should posting private messages be a privelege?
