Salams all, hope you are well in sha allah. I have stopped listening to music and would like to replace it with Nasheeds, Islamic Talks, things i can learn whilst relaxing, driving etc. I use Youtube to download. What can you guys recommend?

Alhamdulillah brother, that you don't listen to music now. I used to listen to it a lot, it is really distracting subhanAllah.

I have heard Sami Yusuf, Zain Bikha are good for nasheeds. As for scholars, there are so many amazing ones ma'sha'Allah :). There is Mufti Menk, Nouman Ali Khan, Yasmin Mogahed, The Daily Reminder is also a good YouTube Channel.

There are many world-class Quran reciters too.

before being on islamic board, i was so fond of music. i had a collection of 506 songs ........about a hundred albums.....

and then IB came into my life! eversince, i've not listened to music.

i dont even know how. for now i know that i have to throw them away asap!(please for that :embarrass)

well i'd recommend you concentrate on driving while driving.

because if you're not doing that you'll definetly be loosing concentration on one. either driving or nasheeds
you could listen to nasheeds while relaxing though :)

I too would like to replace music but I can't. I don't listen to music when I am out and about or at work but I have to listen to it at home. My neighbours are very very noisy. I can't do a single thing at home without jumping out of my skin each time they slam a door very loudly, throw something against the party wall which connects our house to theirs or they switch on one of the noisy ventilator fans which makes our house vibrate. I have tried listening to nazams and naats but they don't drown out the noise. I have tried listening to white noise machines and put in industrial strength ear plugs in but it's not enough. The only thing which wipes out the noise is loud dance music through earphones.

Like I said I would love an alternative but there is nothing. As I typed this message 4 loud door slams happened. Hmmm. I guess this is my destiny!!!
