Put your nose to a rose.
From some distance away,
who would know that such a sweet, intoxicating fragrance could exist,
in something with so many thorns.

Consider the lowly, common coconut.
It is a strange looking thing indeed,
and who could know that inside
there is a pure, white and sweet milk.

From the smallest of seeds,
hidden within,
a mighty tree.

In wintertime,
all appears frozen, cold and lifeless.
When the sun returns,
everything wakes up,
and comes alive again.
