Any favourite RUMI quotes? [emoji259]

"What you seek is seeking you"

Also, does it annoy you how people use RUMI quotes totally oblivious of what they are about...

His sayings are a little bit too mystical to me.

"Life is a balance between holding on and letting go."

he was hazrat molana rumi saheb :rahm:

His words are just amazing subhanAllah, they came right from his soul and you can feel that.

Altho yes it is interesting because the vast majority of his poetry is to do with his love for Allah swt, and some people have definitely got the wrong interpretations instead, lol.

'If light is in your heart, you will find your way home.'

Always makes me think that if we nurture Islam in our hearts, we'll find our way to our true home, Jannah inshaAllah :).

Be like a river in helping and generousity

Be like the sun in tenderness and mercy

Be like the night in covering others flaws

Be like dead in fury and aggression

Be like earth in modesty and humbleness

Be like the sea in tolerance

Either seem as you are or,
Be as you seem..
