My name is Boaz, and lately I have come to really want to know the true nature of God and learn from the perspectives of other religions. I'm Jewish an American-Israeli dual citizen. I enjoy writing fanfiction, reading, traveling, politics, and religious debate/discussion.

US, born and raised. Only lived in Israel for a short time, but my mother is Israeli. Question: Why does it say that I am a limited member?

I respect that Israel is an independent sovereign state. Neither side in this pointless conflict has a clean slate. In the end, it's the innocent on both sides that suffer.

At the time, I may have agreed with you, but more than sixty years later, there's nothing that can be done. But the settlements in Palestinian territory are just plain wrong, and violate international law. Nobody can go into the UN and flash one of the holy books in this day and age. To be honest, the only real connection I have to Israel is because of my mother's family. Especially my grandparents. Other than that, I am just a tourist when I go there. Of course I got emotional when I saw the Western Wall for the first time, but that was it.
