Assalaamu 'Alaikum everyone. This is Nida Awan from karachi. Well, I love to surf the net and find Muslims to chat with, so I decided to join this forum. Any of you who lives in Pakistan must be fully aware that you hardly get to see religious people here, especially religious teenagers. So, being tired of the worldly people around me, I just decided to search for religious Muslims over the net.
I hope to make friends here soon, Inshaa-Allah.

Well, I hope so too. By the way, is there any way I can get to know the people here except by posting on forums?
 
And sometimes, I might want to post irrelevantly...haha, know what I mean? cuz I need to post at least 50 times before I become a member right? haha, so...please don't anybody mind.

By the way I have been to Pakistan and Islam is strongly connected to the culture and heritage there, its an inseperable part of life, though there may be people there who arent very religious, but theres plenty of Mosques there and people join in congregation prayer. Also, I love the food in Pakistan.

Hehe. Brother Goku, I love the food in Pakistan too. I love my country: everything here is spectacular and pretty awesome. But, when you talk about the Islam practised here, I really don't know which part of this country you're talking about. The majority of people just follow the culture and traditions of their society, not the true Islam. And you should really look at the teenagers over here...their spiritual state is pathetic. I don't mean to say that I'm beter than them, but...you know what I mean, right?
