Salaat Time!

Fajr:
Azaan by the Muazzin is said
But you want to stay in your cosy bed.
One day a dark pit will be your grave
No-one will be there, for you to be saved.​

Zuhr:
Azaan by the Muazzin is said
But you decide your stomah needs to be fed
There will come a day when you'll be the main course
Snakes, scorpions, worms, to them you'll be the food source.​

Asr:
Azaan by the Muazzin is said
But you watch your favourite program instead.
The angels on both shoulders are recording all
For your sins, in the grave you'll have to pay a toll.​

Maghrib:
Azaan by the Muazzin is said
You give it a miss, because you are exhausted
The Fire of Hell awaits you eagerly
The flames that'll toast you won't tire so easily.​

Isha:
Azaan by the Muazzin is said
By now, by Shaitaan, astray you've been led.
You claim that tomorrow you will pray
And if not tomorrow, there is always another day.​

Fajr:
Azaan by the Muazzin is said
But you don't hear it,
because you are dead,
You beg Allah Ta'ala, for him to be lenient,​

Too late for prayers now, it's time for your punishment.​

good poem. you would think it would be so easy to perform salaat when we are among those living in safety, so many dying and dead brothers and sisters and children who were praying right up to their last breath. Allah please show us mercy in our lazyness and grant the righteous killed while remaining righteous entrance to the highest heaven
