Imagine u have a family member who doesn't pray Fajr..u know they're not really practising how do u try to get them to pray wit u while u avoid displaying holier-than-thou behaviour.

How wud u feel if they just didnt pray?

I'm a strong believa in letting people be, n not being too persuasive inmatters of deen. Its something u have to want to like deep down as its spiritual, not some'ing u do wen someone asks u to.

Secondly,

I have a friend, who sees me pray but she dnt even get up n make wudu. i'm worried that if I say ''its Dhur, or Asr..they might take it as me trying to get them to do it. So, i try to pray right where they are ''not to annoy them, but as a reminder, but no one takes any notice.

I dont like to lecture people, or to come across as preaching, so now peopl around me dont even care anymore. ''oh I will wait 4u while u pray''..whn all I want is for them to join me.

alhumdulilah its good to see that you care about your friends, you gotta keep advising them inshallah. dont worry about what they think of you, if you gotta go pray then say it, they should know better not to get annoyed about such a serious matter like this. Salah is very important not praying intentionally is a act of kufr. A person who abandons the prayer is a kafir.

So you gotta keep advising them and make dua for them, show them the daleel.

A lot of people are just not aware of the benefits of performing Salah. You would have to tell your friends about them because may be you are the only one who is available to deliver such information to them. :wa:

I think the best thing for you to tell them is that allah is watching you and the two angels on your shoulders are writing down everything you do and say
