ok i swear this is last thread ill make about this...

but i got an idea

could mods PLEEASE change the short cut for :sl:

from : sl :

into

aa

its more meaningful and faster to type n easier 2 use!

aa is short fro 'asalamu Alaikum' btw..

that would be MUCH appreciated :)

lol um thats not a good idea because all the words with a double a in them will have a :sl: in the middle (ok.. so there arent many words with double a lol but it will make transliterating arabic words a hassle)

dw sis's can still say 'aww' 2each toher coz its spelt diff 2 to 'aaw' lol

there's definatley no word dat ends like tht :?

lol srsly typing : sl : is a torture coz its hard moving my 5th finger all the way to the end 2 hit the : button :grumbling

aa? If you want to be that grammatically correct then the second a is also wrong as it should be replaced by a symbol for the "ayin". Just keep it the way it is or change in "slm". I think this is much more meaningful than "aa" because the three letters "s l m" are the radicals of the word "peace"...

lol who cares about grammar, the point is 2 make it simplier n quicker lol!

a.a is such a neat typing pattern

slm is just scattered lol

PS - jsut thought of an issue...wht if ur typing a web address for example

www.animalplanet.com would end up as ww:w:nimalplanet.com
www.hw.ac.uk would end up as www.h:w:c.uk

i know only a few but still worth considering

Yes, there would be problems with some of those suggestions. Is typing : s l : really hard?
