Salaam everyone.
I have been studying Islam for about a year now.
I don't have much time to look around, and very little time to come here and check on things so my apologies in advance. I am working on finally reciting my shahadah at my local mosque. I am starting on my journey to the learn the language of Islam, and was wondering if anyone had any links to a good place to start getting an arabic foundation with sound clips to listen to. I would also be extremely grateful if anyone had any links for sound of the shahadah being recited. Thank you all in advance!

:sl:

if you live in a major city there are quite possibly arabic classes but usually being able to read and recite quranic arabic is a prerequisite on these courses.

it isnt however necessary to learn arabic to become muslim, you can even learn the basic prayers by reciting after someone else or reading the prayers put into english script until you learn more.

if you feel you are convinced islam is the truth then i would advice not to delay and go on and go through with it, after all, none of us know if we will live to see another day or not.

Here is an audio for shahada
(to hear it click here
“La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammadur rasoolu Allah,”
“There is no true god (deity) but God (Allah) and Muhammad is the Messenger (Prophet) of God.”
The first part, “There is no true god but God,” means that none has the right to be worshipped but God alone, and that God has neither partner nor son.

It's ok if your asking us but you should first attempt to try to find it then consult us,it will be a question at the day of judgement "how did you spend your time on Earth?".

Where do you live in WV? I have family in Beckley and Morgantown, I can be there this weekend to give you any help you need/are looking for.
