Assalamu alaykum all

first of all Jazakallah and apologies to everyone to hanging on for the downtime over the last few days - its basically been a nightmare from start trying to get things up and the funny thing is its not over yet! :laugh:

Islamicboard.com - The Transfer of this account is aLL done and Inshallah all should be ok! If you spot any problems PLEASE let me know!!!

BAD BAD NEWS is that - When i tried to move the account over it corrupted the Database which meant i had to do a restore from 3 weeks back :( Yes gutted about this :( but hey was stuck there

So anyone registered after 3 weeks till upto now will need to re-register :(


The Server is in UK so anyone in UK may notice change in Speed - need to add an extra 1 GIG ram in t here not sure if that has been done or not need to check...........


Now next task is moving load-islam.com which is 18gig and has failed 6 times already so more long nights up :(

but Islamicboard is up which is the main thing alhumdulillah!!!!!!

I've been having spasms since the site has been down! - DId you not make up a back-up of the data? THis would have prevented you having to lose three weeks of data and sign-ups?

Just before the forum crashed the best thread ever written was started. It had all of the solutions to the world's problems and was also easy to read and entertaining. I think I was the only one who read it before the crash and I forgot what it said.

Would whoever posted it please repost it.

Now to say what I really meant to say. Brother -S- worked many long hours to restore this. It is true that some stuff was lost. But he did an excellent job in being able to save as much as he did save. I just want to let him know his efforts are appreciated.

yehh i lost like half my reps. i get liek 20 a day now it went so far back...
