A person who believes that it is impossible to know whether God exists?!

That is the classic definition of agnostic. Most modern agnostics redefine it as "uncertainty as to whether god exists". But really, aren't we all agnostics at the core? No atheist I know would say that they are 100% certain there is no God and few theists I know would say that they have absolutely zero doubt. So I prefer the classic definition. The modern one doesn't say much.

"uncertainty as to whether god exists"?

That is the Key to answer my Questions!

lol!
i believe that there is much that is unknowable and that that is OK. personally, i believe in god, but not in any religion.
p.s. i like your flowers - thanks.

> Personally, i believe in god, but not in any religion.

Discovered/Invented god(s) or God?!

I believe that humans received revelations, rather than invent their God.
Many, if not most agree with you. I don't happen to be one of them.

I don't believe that every once and a while god drops in and lets one person know what the rules of the game are.

I also believe that you believe what you say you believe.

> I don't believe that every once and a while god drops in and lets one person know what the rules of the game are.

Wilberhum, I also believe that you believe what you say you believe. So, please let me know:
1. God does not exist? If not, why do you attribute "drops in+Lets one person know" to someone that does not exist?
2. Is there a game? If not, why do you attribute Rules" to to something that does not exist?

To define what an agnostic is you should start with the word
The word is obviously Greek

Gnosis is Greek for knowledge; ic means the quality of being

The Gnostic religion is the religion of knowers, they are the knowers because they seek logos the personification of knowledge.

In the Greek language A as a prefix simply, reverses the words definition

So as Agnostics we are the not knowers

That is the simplest and most direct way of defining agnostics

God does not exist? I never said that. I think god does exits. But, I also accept the possibility that he does not exist.
As for the game, same answer.

Agnostics by definition don't believe that God doesn't exist.

If they believed that they'd be atheists.

But really the definition of agnostic is so thin that while wilberhum calls himself agnostic, and you seem to think he is atheist, I would call him theist. He's just one that admits he has some doubts, as I suspect all rational theists would have.

Well done. Yes you would be more accurate calling me a theist.
While I question the existance of god, there is no question in my mind that god had nothing to do with any religion.

why would any one religion have a monopoly on god? why would god belong to any religion? why do i need a religion to talk to god?
you know the answers to these questions, but obviously i do not. that's why i'm agnostic!
wilberhum, no need to apologize!
