American Muslims often vote Democrat because it will preserve their rights better, so why can't I vote for a secularist? Isn't that hypocrisy? The political party in Turkey I admire the most is CHP (Republican People's Party) since they typically challenge anti-democratic practices of Erdogan the loudest. I also believe they are Democratic in general. But then again, that could be due to them being a minority party and never winning any elections without a coalition, so therefore they have to SEEM democratic in order to get votes. It happened with AKP. At first they were promising democracy and civil liberties and freedom for all and a "ban on all bans" but now they have become crooked to the point that it's disgusting. I especially admire the politician Kemal Kilicdaroglu, and believe he may have a chance at winning the Presidency. Also, I like his character, as well as his policies. Assuming voting is halal, what do you think about me voting for a secularist party founded by Ataturk? (which has nonetheless toned down its secularism over the years)? Either CHP and Kemal Kilicdaroglu, or Nationalist Meral Aksener (who was expelled from her party but may form a new one or run for president) gets my vote.

EDIT: Recently Kilicdaroglu has begun a wave of mass protests called the "Justice Marches" after one of his MPs Berberoglu was sentenced to 25 years in prison for his time as a journalist when he exposed (albeit through spying, they say) that Turkey was sending arms to al qaeda in syria.

It's better that you stand for election, then you won't have to ask everyone else to spend neuron activity pondering over who you should give your precious vote to. That way, everyone's neuron activity is more efficiently expended ;)

Any other politician other than erdogans party is susceptible to American slavery; i.e, they wouldn't hesitate to turn into America's slave

I would worry more about the socialism than the secularism

I can't make a recommendation as far as Turkish politics are concerned, because I know so little about it, but here in the states, left-wing parties (Democrats, Greens, etc.) are extremely anti-religious, and their members tend to be authoritarian socialists, technocrats, etc. The Democratic Party is completely dominated by wealthy, politically-connected Jews, who push Zionist policies, central-planning, and intrusive government.

A Democrat may tell a Muslim that he supports him, while behind the back he funnels money into the Israel Defense Forces, and supports legislation that would allow the taxing of mosques and churches.

Muslims in the US are being used by Democrats. It is convenient for this party to speak about civil rights and the plight of refugees and immigrants, but the minute it becomes possible, they will abandon Muslims.

Democrats support and fund:

1. Gay rights initiatives, including gay marriage. Devout Muslims and Christians shouldn't be getting behind that.
2. Forcing private schools, including Muslim ones, to teach transgenderism, homosexuality, and leftist economics (Marxism)
3. Unlimited financial and military support for Israel
4. The outlawing of homeschooling, something that some Christians and Muslims do
5. Taxing of churches and mosques
6. The policing of books and the Internet through organizations such as the SPLC, ADL, etc.
7. "Hate Speech laws", which could mean the next time someone criticizes Israel, they could get thrown in jail for "Antisemitic Hate Speech"

Now the Neoconservatives support some of this as well, so they aren't much better. They are the Jews who ended up in the Republican Party, and were advisors to Reagan, Bush, and even Clinton.

The Neoconservatives were the ones who funded and supported the Mujahideen and other groups agains the Soviet Union. We see what that led to.

A good book about this is "Islam and Logos" by E Michael Jones

There are not a lot of good political options for Muslims in the US, but I would not recommend anyone simply give blanket support to the Democrats.

You shouldn´t give even a single thought for the politics or politicians. Focus to your own life and everything goes better.

Should you vote for a political party in Turkey?.

Mustafa, what is your citizenship?. If you are American, then you have no right to vote in Turkish election.

Does that mean it's better not to vote at all? :?
Mustafa is 18 years old boy. What Sister Herb mean is, rather than busy to think about politic which is not his 'world', it's better if he lives his life like other teenagers.

Oh lol, maybe I missed something. Sorry for reading too quickly :embarrass

I am American, but I have dual citizenship since my parents were born in Turkey.

Erdogan is crooked dictator, a ruthless tyrant, a murderer, a family destroyer, a fitnah, and an evil man. I'd take America's slave over him any day. Read this: https://turkeypurge.com/

Stay away for voting for a nations leader because that particular nation leader could make somthing like being naked in the street legal and then you would've contributed to it only vote for things like marijuana so you can vote to illegalize it always vote for whatever coincides with the shariah and allahs law or don't vote at all

no political party in Turkey, except for perhaps the tiny political parties, are advocating shariah law. The anti-Bahceli nationalists (Bahceli being the chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party), people like Meral Aksener, who have the chance to run for president or start their own parties, and have signaled so, or anti Erdogan AKP members who were expelled or are still in the party but are kept silent by Erdogan, who COULD run for president or start their own party, but said this is clearly not their intention, like Abdullah Gul, are the closest to respecting Islamic values. The nationalists in Turkey are religious, and respect religion. But there is no political party i can think of that advocates shariah, and besides, they would probably be banned due to the nature of the constitution of turkey. either that, or they lack support.

Vote for the one whom you think is best for Turkey and Turkish citizents. But you have another problem bro before deciding whom to vote in the Turkey's next elections, anger. Anger is such an illusion which blinds people eyes. You have a hatred for a larger group/entity because of your anger for a few men. Unless you clear yourself from that, don't think about it. Because you will not be succesfull in your decision.

One should never support democrats.

It is clear from the points you have put up, they want to destroy Islam and teach deviant stuff (transgenderism etc.)
