salamu Alaikum,
I wrote this poem about a year ago. Its dark, but I think it fits the topic.
SIN
A heavy toil,
A burden,
A black stain on the hearts of men.
A Thick velvet blanket that envelopes their beating hearts,
And what’s more,
It sinks deeper and deeper,
Into vast darkness penetrating through desires and
Whims.
Like venom, it spreads throughout,
Flowing in every vein, into every vessel.
Possessing the soul,
Possessing the limb.
Treacherous,
Like violent waves,
On a dark, windy night.
