Salaam Alaykum Warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

I usually use " ma fiicantay?" which means "how are you doing?" and as Sister-Ameena said "see tahay" :)

Mashallah there are many Somali speakers in this Forum, its great to see,

"Aniga waxaan daganahay ingriiska, waxaan soo dagay sagaal sano kahor."

:sl: Lol sis Ayan, it's ''iska waraan'' and ''see tahay?"

There's so many different ways to talk in Somali...... each 5 miles people talk in a different type of the language in Somali..........

I'm from xamar, so i know plently of "af reer xamar" i also know "reer ruqooy" they speack that in the north in hargeysa:)

I love the way the reer waqooyi people speak they are funny. I try to imitate some of my friends that speak that way but i can never do it. I feel like theirs something stuck on my tongue.
