Anas ibn Malik (RadiAllaahu Anhu) reported:

The Prophet :saws: passed by a woman who was weeping beside a grave.
The Prophet :saws: said, “Fear Allah and be patient.” She said, “Go away
from me, for you have not been afflicted by a calamity like mine,” and she did
not recognize him. Then, she was told that it was the Prophet, so she went to the
house of the Prophet and she did not find any bodyguards there. She said to him,
“I did not recognize you.” The Prophet :saws: said,
“Verily, patience is at the first strike (of calamity).

"If Allāh helps you, none can overcome you; and if He forsakes you, who is there
after Him that can help you? And in Allāh (Alone) let the believers put their trust."

  • We need to exercise Sabr :ia: at the first sign of any trouble befalling upon us
  • We need to realise that Allaah does whatever is best for us
  • We need to learn to have tawakkul in Allaah

May Allaah enable us to trust Him even in our darkest of times, for He Knows Best. Ameen.

A strong lesson to be learnt, about patience, and the great tolerance of our beloved Rasul:saws:, subhanallah!

Jazakallah khair.
