Speed of the forum

When I access a thread, it loads 90% and then just pauses, or it sometimes loads very slowly. Replying is fast. Viewing the index is fast.

When it pauses, does it continue loading after a while or do you've to hit refresh?

eg. Right now, I opened this thread, and it loaded 90%, so as i'm typing in this quick reply box, its still loading.

yea same wid me..it takes millions of years loading and a page comes up saying that the website isnt working and that the technical staff have been told about it....

Right now its just being slow in general. Its taking forvever to load the threads, and its being a real pain.

Or is this server always going to be this slow?
