Good story about having faith and for girls who loose hope and judge themselves too harshly upon being rejected by un suitable suitors. well done writer !

BUT, in Islam, YOU CANT GET MARRIED twice to the same person , without the girl having married another man, and gotten divorced.. OOPS:omg:
sorry guys but there's one tiny lil techinal glitch there in the story ;D

(but correct me if im wrong, he did get married to khulood in the beginning right?)

Thought that was only in the case where the husband gave his wife three talaqs ( I divorce you, I divorce you, I divorce you).

Hasan ibn Ali (RA) said (in a long Hadith, after divorcing his wife): “Had I not heard my father (Ali) narrating from my grandfather (Prophet (SAW)) say: “when a man pronounces three divorces, then his wife will no longer remain lawful for him, unless she marries another man”, I would have taken my wife back.” (Sunan al-Bayhaqi)

I want more stories. imsad

I miss Flame :unhappy: and I like it when the author posts the story in intervals :hiding:

yes you can. if the man divorces the woman three times only then she can't marry him without having married another man and and he has divorced her.

:salamext:

The story is good MashaAllaah, but I couldn't help point out 1 thing: In Islaam, a person has to get married to someone else willingly, genuine marriage, after talaaq, and then get a genuine talaaq from that person is order to re-marry the person they married 1st.

^that is only the case if the man has divorced the wife three times. if he only divorced her once or she took divorce from him, then there isn't such restrictions. In Surah Al-Baqarah Allah has said that a woman shouldn't be stopped from remarrying her exhusband if the two want to marry. That is the case if there was one divorce. but if the man divorced her thrice, then she has to marry another man, consumate the marriage with him, and when he divorces her, then she can remarry the previous husband if she likes.

So does Saeid divorce her once?

And can you show me the Verse in Surah Baqarah please.

he divorced her once. since the marriage wasn't comsumated, there is no waiting period, etc after divorce. i don't know if a man can divorce such a wife thrice before the marriage is consumated and what happen if he doesn. but there's no need for three divorces, since there's no waiting period.

2:228:
Divorced women remain in waiting for three periods, and it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allah has created in their wombs if they believe in Allah and the Last Day. And their husbands have more right to take them back in this [period] if they want reconciliation. And due to the wives is similar to what is expected of them, according to what is reasonable. But the men have a degree over them [in responsibility and authority]. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

2:229
Divorce is twice. Then, either keep [her] in an acceptable manner or release [her] with good treatment. And it is not lawful for you to take anything of what you have given them unless both fear that they will not be able to keep [within] the limits of Allah . But if you fear that they will not keep [within] the limits of Allah , then there is no blame upon either of them concerning that by which she ransoms herself. These are the limits of Allah , so do not transgress them. And whoever transgresses the limits of Allah - it is those who are the wrongdoers.

2:230
And if he has divorced her [for the third time], then she is not lawful to him afterward until [after] she marries a husband other than him. And if the latter husband divorces her [or dies], there is no blame upon the woman and her former husband for returning to each other if they think that they can keep [within] the limits of Allah . These are the limits of Allah , which He makes clear to a people who know.

2:231
And when you divorce women and they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or release them according to acceptable terms, and do not keep them, intending harm, to transgress [against them]. And whoever does that has certainly wronged himself. And do not take the verses of Allah in jest. And remember the favor of Allah upon you and what has been revealed to you of the Book and wisdom by which He instructs you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is Knowing of all things.

2:232
And when you divorce women and they have fulfilled their term, do not prevent them from remarrying their [former] husbands if they agree among themselves on an acceptable basis. That is instructed to whoever of you believes in Allah and the Last Day. That is better for you and purer, and Allah knows and you know not.

So the above verses state that if a man divorces his wife three times, he can't remarry her unless she marries another man and he divorces her too. And if a man divorces his wife once or twice, then she can remarry him.
