structural (displayed) formula to chemical formula

I was taught how to do this but i forgot and i've searched everywhere. Does anyone know how to write a displayed formula of a compound into a chemical formula?


The branched group has to be bracketed to show it's on a branch but how do you know what to bracket in a compound like above?
