I'm having a discussion with a girl I made a mention that the level of purity and modesty of Islam is reflected on its women. The women are the symbolic form of Islam.

i pointed to

Virgin Mary
Khadija
Fatimah
Aiesha

(may Allah (swt) give them peace).

and she said
ummm ya? and? you are listing the names of 5 amazing women in islam... and? what's your point?
but she wants verses from the quran and hadiths

any suggestions/tips?

she also says

I did not know those were quotes in the quran...interesting.
Please do not compare Virgin Mary to the rest. Her role in the Abrahamic religions are far important than the rest.

oh and she is muslim

With regards to her saying that Maryam is more important than the rest:

Anās Radhi-Allāhu ‘anhu reports that Nabī Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam has said: “From among the women of the world who have perfected their Imaan are: Maryam the daughter of Imrān; Khadija daughter of Khuwailid; Fatima daughter of Muhammad and 'Asiyah wife of Fir’aun (Pharaoh)” (Tirmidhi)
