say for example you had deveopled some kind of disease, condtion, etc are the symptoms continuous (eg constant headaches, expelling blood when coughing, fatigue overwhelming you for no apparent reason) , do they come and go (eg feeling okay for a few days, then feeling absolutely terrible for like a day) or does it depend on what it is you got?

I believe that it depends on what you got...Say your having a headache, for a Migrane patient it is a continuous symptom of the disease, and when you're hungry you too feel some headache but this 'll last for a certain period of time;D;D;D
