Does anyone have links for tajweed please? I thought I'd corrected it but after listening carefully I realise I'm nowhere near it.

I'm trying to learn surah Yaseen (from the child reciter on youtube). But this link I found for tajweed, sounds different to the prounciations in the child's recitation. Please help. May Allah reward you.

u wont be able to learn tajweed correctly in this manner, try learning for some1.... if u have any questions u can always ask

^agreed, Ukthi you won't be able to learn in this way you gota learn from someone mayb someone whom is a Huffaz or maybe go to a mosque allah hu alim, but trust it's hard learning this way

by the way ive done saba qiraat lon time ago,forgot some of it

me self is learning from an Aalimah it's soo hard face to face && then from audio's wow thats really hard all i listen to is Qura'an Qura'an by Qari Basit but i haven't still got the hang of Tajwid yet it's hard for me because me got a lisp but make dua'ah ukthi inshallah get thru it inshallah

I agree with you guys but I can't get to people who teach around here. There's a room on Paltalk for sisters only, but it's locked. So I don't know how to join them. :-\

Also is it possible to learn from a brother? Not that I want to, just something that was being discussed between me and a friend.

whats 'paltalk':?

&& learning from a brother well if you have a veil on && maybe like your brother or papa then it's okay but i frequently think it's better learning from an Ukthi because atleast you don't be shy or whats so not && it doesn't put you down speaking from me own personal here ukthi.

I don't think I could sit in front of a bro and allow him to teach me. I almost stammer if I talk to one in a shop!
I'm just wondering if it's allowed?

anywho i think it's alright if you have a veil on && your brother or papa with you but best to get taught by same gender gruop more confidence in ya

I don't live with my parents sis. But my mom said it was ok to learn from a bro. But just thinking abt it makes me nervous. Perhaps if there was a group of sisters then it'd be ok.
