It must feel more realistic than sitting in a wheelchair while being pushed by someone else.
And could be a useful method for people who find it difficult to make the full seven circuits plus sayy of Safa and marwa on foot.
Dunno why the haters are jealous....

I've seen that video circulating alot lately. People are debating whether it should be allowed or not. It shouldn't be too long till we have scholars making a comment, so there's an valid Islamic position regarding it.

Great idea though for those who have difficulty walking, as it replaces the wheelchair.
