The Battle
How difficult it is, to fight the battle within
to throw your desires to one side, n shove 'em in th bin
How difficult it is, to sometimes not give in,
To please Allah, and refrain from all sin
Sometimes in our wants, we forget abt Allah's command
beaten by our needs n desires, its so hard to take a stand
But when courage steps in, n u take a stand to leave it all,
the shayateen army targets u, trying their best to make u fall
They shoot your mind with guilt, n they shoot ur heart with fear,
they come from ur front, from ur sides, n from your rear
They make the right seem wrong, and the wrong seem right,
Try to worry n confuse you, so u can't win the fight.
That cursed Iblees, that troublesome Jinn
He won't give in, Just won't give in.
So be it Iblees, you can try your very best!
But u make me even more determined, to pass this very test
You can bring ur whole army, n ur faithful bunch of liars
But with Allah's help i'll stay firm, I won't give in to my desires
He has left us great weapons, n given us special tools
To increase our Eemaan, n outwit u silly fools
O Allah, give me knowledge, and help me do whats right
and Please keep me guided by your mighty shinning light
I want to please you only, and gain peace of mind
Please help me through my tests, O Merciful, O Kind
Don't let me fail n fall, please dont let me slip
In obeying u lies respect n Honour, so help me keep my grip
O Allah, take my hand, please pull me to the top
Forgive every mistake n sin of mine, plz don't let me drop
I pray this du'aa for my sisters, n my brothers too,
for true success lies n following Islam, n in obeying ONLY u.
So plz hear my Du'aa O Lord, O Rabbul 'Alameen,
the All Magnificent, All Powerful, Arahmaan Niraheem.
