the beard and trousers above tha ankle

is a MUST for a man to roll his trousers up and have a beard or is it SUNNAH I am really confused so please help me out

akhee/ukhtee first we must understand that anything the prophet instructed was a sunnah/mustahab at most and anything he was STRICT on is a wajib act.

read the chapter:

Chapter of "What hangs below the two ankles is in the Fire."
So it is clear that we SHOULD keep the garment above the ankles.
