The Lyrical terrorist
An old poem which I wrote when the sister was first sentenced, alhamdulilah that it has now been quashed and considered unsafe. I wonder how many of our brothers are innocent and still in prison.
Today they jailed the lyrical terrorist
Whose words hit kufr harder than a fist
They no longer fear bombs going off on the tube
But words as well
Any form of resistance
And opposition
Now seen as glorifying terror
Even verses of the Quran and hadiths
What about prayers and Duas?
And asking Allah to give the victory
To make the forces of kufr history
Will that now become a crime?
So what to do?
What to say?
Shall we keep quite?
While our Ummah is being destroyed
And become a willing participant
In the demise of Islam from life and society
If that’s the case
Might as well join the Crusader army
And do the job properly
Will the arrests
Frighten Muslims from speaking the haqq
Give dawah a rest
Being careful and always watching their backs
From the enemy and its lowly informers
Or will it inspire
A new generation
To take the place of fallen comrades
Who have the courage to sacrifice their today
For the Ummah’s awakening
They lock up those who resist
And insist
That Allah swt is sovereign
Give medals and awards to those who salute the Queen
Recognise and accept man as the legislator
Trade the hereafter
For this life
But most cannot be bought
Have pride and conviction in their deen
And these they target
For conversion
To Secular British Islam
And apostasy
Scholars bought
And paid to misquote
Allah’s words
And confuse the masses
While ex-Islamists
Appear in the media
And make tawba
For carrying the dawah
The sincere know
The battle will spread and grow
Until Islam destroys
And smashes the ideas of Kufr
For once and for all
Ameen
So take heed
Oh! Ummah of Muhammad saw
Victory is near
And it is Islam’s return they fear
As they cower, and hide from dialogue and debate
Preferring to arrest and silence
Those who fight with words
From the Quran and Sunnah
