THE PRICE Of A WOMAN'S BRAIN
A patient seriously sick is at the hospital. The family is joined together in the waiting room.
A doctor enters,tired,and says: "Sorry, I've come to bring you bad news. The only chance of survival is a brain transplantation. It is an experimental operation, very risky and it's expenses will be completely covered by you."
The family remains shocked. One of the members asks: "How much does a brain cost?"
"That depends, answers the doctor. It is 5000 $ for the brain of a man and 200 $ for the brain of a woman."
A long silence follows this statement. The men of the family retain themselves from laughing and avoid looking at the women.
A curious person dares nevertheless to ask "the question": "Doctor, why is there such a difference in price?"
The doctor smiles,faced to such a question, then answers: "the brains of women cost less because they have been used."
