Elah / Allah

During Jesus's time as a Prophet he use to call God, Elah. Prophet Jesus spoke Aramiac, mashallah. A long forgotten language that has no longer exist today.

It is very similar to the Kalima, mashallah.

When Muslims pass one proclaim the Kalima

There is none worhty of worship but Allah.

The same thing applies to Christians, inshallah.

Thanks for sharing, I prefer when 'God is One' is put in context; as in Mark 12,

“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

I also like reading the 99 names of Allah.
