The Truth about NATO's intervention in Libya



When one looks into the true facts behind the situation in Libya, Gaddafi's rule and the real purpose behind NATO's intervention then there is no doubt that things are not as they seem.The so called uprising was nothing more than a plot perpotrated by the west and Israel firstly to oust a regime that they were not in control of, secondly for its vast oil reserves and strategic location but the main reason for the intervention was because of currency. Gaddafi was in fact planning on creating a new African currency made of gold called the gold Dinar which would have rivalled the dollar and Euro and no doubt have shifted the economic balance of the world and would have actually meant that Africa would have become one of the richest continents in the world rather than the poorest.

The west and Israel used the uprisings around the Arab world to stage an uprising in Libya in order to fulfil their agenda. Gaddafi hadmany links with western intelligence. He had links both open and undercover with the UK, the Us, Italy and many other countries. Britain was even supplying him with arms just earlier this year and stopped as soon as the "revolution" began. Blair even befriended him and told the world they should extend their hands to him. Look at the media campaign when the Iraq invasion was taking place. How they made Sadaam out to be like a monster when a few years before he was an ally to the west. Was Iraq liberated after Saddam got killed? Of course not. It is worse now than it has ever been and the situation is only getting worse. Unfortunately it is looking like Libya will meet the same fate. Outside forces will continue to try and de-stabilize it just like in Iraq and Pakistan.

What exactly was the alleged "uprising" for? The situation in Libya is nothing like it was in Tunisia, Yemen or Egypt where there were no jobs or prospects. The Libyan people were provided with free healthcare, housing, education, their marriages were paid for, their businesses were set up for them, they had the cheapest fuel you can imagine, they had interest free loans, they had a share in the countrys wealth. They were able to practise Islam as much as they liked. Did you know how rich Libya was before the uprising? It was called the Switzerland of Africa. Its people were very well looked after.

When looking into the history of Gaddafis 40 year rule although he was not a role model for Muslims and made many mistakes and errors he cared more for his people than most leaders in this world. This was also confirmed by jounalists who went to Libya during the beginning of the uprisings and confirmed that all they saw was Gaddafi supporters everywhere. Journalists also confirm that NATO targetted mainly civilian targets proving their aim was to destabilize Libya. What we are constantly being fed by the mainstream media is utter lies and deception.

He wasn't like other Arab leaders he wasnt scared to speak out, he always told it how it was and this is why most Arab leaders did not like him.

He certainly wasnt a puppet of the west like most of the Arab leaders are today. He didnt sell out his peolple out like scum like Saleh, Zardari and the Saudi monarchy. Israel and the west will try and ensure that Libya also has a leader that will sell out its people and become its puppet whilst they milk its oil reserves.

There is just so much dishonesty, hypocrisy and double standards in this world and the amount of lies we are being constantly fed by the mainstream media is unbelievable. They are conditioning our views and perceptions constantly all of the time. But the reality is very different.

I have been following it for a while now,
It is telling how the un didn't request the nations of the world to bomb US troops out of Iraq despite admitting it was an illegal invasion and that more than a million people had been slaughtered,
(this happened after they had spied on iraq's defence capabilities in the name of searching for imaginary WMD)

Gaddafi's speech at the un exposed much of this hypocrisy:

I will admit, he was not a leader who totally ruled by Islam, but he was an angel compared to most of the current world leaders,

And if we cheer for Chavez when he speaks out as a fellow human, why do we stall at gaddafi just because he was not ruling by Islam, let us give credit where credit is due rather than revile him for not being on our side

Libyan Officials Oppose Gaddafi Oil Money Plan

Muammar Gaddafi's plan to hand oil revenues directly to Libyans has run up against opposition from officials, state media said on Wednesday in a rare glimpse into state decision-making in the north African country.
Officials including Prime Minister Al-Baghdadi Ali al-Mahmoudi and central bank governor Farhat Omar Bin Guidara said that the move, and a related plan to abolish most of the state apparatus, could do long term damage to the OPEC member country's economy, the official Libyan news agency reported.
Gaddafi was adamant his plan was correct, Jana said.
"What you want is that the...situation remains unchanged so you can keep your positions. That is the psychology that underpins your arguments," Jana quoted Gaddafi as saying at a meeting on Tuesday with senior officials including al-Mahmoudi and Bin Guidara.
Gaddafi, complaining about ineffective ministries and corrupt officials, said in March the government should hand oil wealth directly to the people so they can choose where to get basic services. He also urged a sweeping reform of government bureaucracy, saying most of the cabinet system should be dismantled to free Libyans from red tape and protect the state budget from graft.
Gaddafi said on Tuesday that Libyans should not trust government bureaucrats to manage their money.
"Whatever, you have to think about how the oil money will be distributed directly to the Libyans."
"There is no ruse here. People cannot be fooled. This oil belongs to the Libyans. They have to take the oil money and do whatever they like with it," Gaddafi said.
The officials raised their hands one after another to plead with Gaddafi that handing out money would fan inflation by spurring wild consumption instead of expanding production, and would hinder efforts to sustain growth and social development.
"I tell you frankly the best alternative to the direct distribution of the oil money is we build investment portfolios where people will invest the money from the oil earnings," al Mahmoudi was quoted as saying.
Bin Guidara was quoted as saying there would be big problems if the oil money was distributed directly.
"Firstly, the inflation and the possibility of finding ourselves unable to defend the value of the Libyan dinar and the dinar would lose its value and probably we will have deficit in the balance of payments."

Well he had some solid intentions of dealing with the inflation- he was planning to sell his worthless paper dollars, buy gold, sell oil for gold, and distribute it among the people in exchange for the fraudulent paper money which is modelled on the Rothschild method of taking people's gold and giving them a promissory note bearing a pledge to repay, then dissappearing the gold and making the bad paper cheques legal tender,
Real Islamic money in people's hands seems to be a no-no for crooks,
They're content with printing paper and devaluing people's savings whenever they want to buy anything or start an illeg war.

He is not a sellout like Zardari who has sold the Pakistani people for a cheap price. He is pocketing BILLIONS of dollars every year whilst Pakistan is having major power shortages. There is NO doubt that Zardari is a puppet of the west and the quicker he is ousted the quicker Pakistan can progress. Pakistan need a revolution to get rid of the deeply ingrained corruption which is like a deadly viral infection in Pakistan.

^ its actually not his mistake. its our mistake, we elect him and today he is our president. if majority of us are good, we choose some better but our nation had sold themselves on very low price. they give him vote just in expectation of few ruppes and some worldly favors. let hope that we learn from it and correct ourselves and show some sense of maturity next time. ameeen

I started reading about Gaddaafi today and was astonished to see the state of Libya under his rule. The citizens were literally handed out money in his rule. It really boiled my blood to see how such an amazing leader was brought down to ground. At the end of the day, he was a human who's ought to make mistakes but yet his virtues outnumbered his vices. I used to think Saudi Govt does a very good job in taking care of the citizens but compared to "Gaddaafi's Libya", it's nothing.

May Allah bless Gaddaafi with the highest levels in Jannah for standing for Islam most of his life. I think he died a shaheed, let's hope he gets the reward likewise. Ameen.

Tripoli - Libyan President Moamar Gaddafi, in another jab at a government he says is failing the people, called late Saturday for the country's oil revenues to be distributed directly to the population.
In a speech to the People's Congresses, a representative body of the country's villages, Gaddafi said 32 billion dollars - roughly Libya's annual oil revnues - should be distributed to Libya's five million people.
Gaddafi said the plan would help the country to overcome corruption in the government.
In his remarks he also accused consecutive Libyan governments of failing in all fields from economics to education.
'It is like a Libyan student who cannot write Arabic correctly despite spending nine years in school,' said Gaddafi.
In the past Gaddafi had frequently called for revolutionary ideas such as giving the oil wealth directly to people and dismantling the government system.
Last March, he complained about ineffective ministries and corrupt officials and said Libyans should not trust government bureaucrats to manage their money.

although Ghadafi may have had good intention by distributing the money directly, I don' think it's the best way to improve the wealth of the people.
It would have been better to provide free goods and services than free money. Free money will only jack up inflation rates which would have wrecked its economy (which it may have done).
Or the move was calculated as a populist move merely made to garner the support of Libyans.

If Ghadafi were complaining about corruption in his own government, he could have adopted Rasulullah (saw) sunnah: Cut the hands of all corruptors, or the chinese government's method: execution for big time corrupters.

Any system involving man running them will be corrupt as man is inherantly greedy and corrupt. Even shariah systems have had corrupted people within it but the Shariah which is the system of Allah is inheritantly fair and just system whereas manmade systems are inheritantly unfair and unjust usually only benefiting the elite few. People are now realising what a corrupt, unfair and evil system capitalism is as can be seen from the worldwide "occupy" protests. Capitalism is made to benefit only the elite few and will always fail at least once a decade or so as it is built upon ribah (usury).

Dictatorships are also very corrupt, unfair and unjust but Gadaffis dictatorship although corrupt he was not a fully blown puppet of the west as is most of the Arab dictators and certainly not as bad. His dictatorship only came to the end due to western intervention to prevent him from creating a new gold currency which would have shifted the economic balance away from the failing capitalist economies of the west to the East. He was a thinker. He distributed more wealthtgan other dictators. Mubarak was the worst of them as he kept billions of dollars in his pocket and was a fully blown supporter of the west and zionists. He sold out his people as did Salih of Yemen the dog and Zardari of Pakistan the snake.

We need leaders like the famous khaliph of the great Ottoman empire Mehmet II who actually used to go throughout his government departments undercover to root out the corrupt and uproot corruption where ever it was beginning or established. He was a very clever and great khaliph and the Muslims need a just ruler today more than ever.

Libya's banking system is dominated by four banks which are owned in full or inthe majority by the Libyan Central Bank (Jamahiriya Bank, Wahda Bank, Sahara Bank,
Umma Bank and the National Commercial Bank). These banks constitute almost ninety
percent of Libya's banking sector assets. All of these banks have capital of at least 100
million Libyan Dinars, and two of them (Wahda Bank and Sahara Bank), were in the
process of being privatized in 2006. France's BNP Paribas acquired 19% of Libya's Sahara
Bank in July 2007, and took operational control of the bank. The deal also includes an
option allowing BNP Paribas to purchase additional shares up to 51% of Sahara's capital
over the next three to five years. In November 2007, five foreign banks were short listed
for the privatization of Wahda Bank, including French, Italian, Jordanian, Bahraini and
Moroccan institutions; Arab Bank (of Jordan) was selected. They bid on a 19% of the
share of Wahda Bank, with the option to increase their ownership to 51% in three to
five years. The Central Bank announced in October 2007 that it would merge Umma
Bank and Jamahiriya bank into a single entity; that process was completed in 2008
although there are still branches open under the banner of each bank.

it seems that arms were being twisted after gaddafi was forced to give up his weapons programme - after they invaded iraq on the false premise of wmd.
sanctions on libya were removed - and many of us are aware that more "private" talks and "agreements" (appeasements) and hand-shakes take place behind the scenes for things like this to happen.

if libya's (until then - interest free) banks were in the process of being privatized - Gaddafi knew that libyan's would fall prey to the loan-sharks, and what better way to prevent them from having to go to the sharks for handouts other than to ensure the people were self-sufficient?

i'd say it was a clever move which frustrated the token of the french banks who would do anything to prevent it.

banks make money when people are needy.

also - with the corruption in the government which Gaddafi had hi-lighted, the worst place to have the wealth would be in the governemnt's hands - especially if they were selling out the country to foreign interests.

he suggested that the people be given the option to invest their money in infrastructure if they saw it worthwhile.
and the people would only do so if there was no corruption.

and gold and silver is the Islamic currency - where the wealth is in the people's hands, this is a requirement of Islam.
the government cannot usurp the people's gold and monopolise on the wealth via promissory notes - even if they are backed.
the only thing it can do is ask for funding or borrow it off the people.
this ensures proper government in it's place.
