I’ve been wearing niqab for a while. I’m very happy in it, I feel so safe and close to Allah when I wear it. I’ve found myself having some problems with it recently, it doesn't feel modest enough. I don’t like how my curves are even slightly visible when I move, I do not want people seeing my eyes, I’m constantly adjusting it and lookin into mirrors to make sure it looks fine.
I thought about purchasing a burqa to eliminate these issues. Problem: burqa is insanely expensive. All of the ones I found are between 40-100 dollars. I’ve been saving up for a 40 dollar one, but It really bums me out I most likely won’t be able to get more for a very very long time due to the pricing. I thought about making my own but I’m not that great at sewing. I’ve tried to make myself niqabs in the past, but all of them are unusable. I’m afraid of spending the money to get the materials to make burqa and have it come out unusable too
I feel incredibly sad not being able to cover completely. i know this is a very silly problem and I should just be happy with wearing niqab but it just doesn’t feel like enough. I want to be as close to Allah as I can be and I find myself feeling closest to him when I’m at my most modest.
Does anyone have suggestions on how I could possibly cover more? Or how I could go about sewing my own burka? Really anything is appreciated! Thank you so much for listening to my problem
