Towards Becoming Better Women

when are we going to see articles and "mass preachings" for men to get themselves in line cos i sure as hell know that men are equally as responsible for the "rifts" made in society.
As soon as I get writing, inshaAllah.:shade:

But yeah, I do agree with you sis, I guess it's women that tend to be on the receiving end of such issues, most of the time, rather than men.

I'll check out the article inshaAllah.

*not directed at you sis ;) and not questioning the content/creditability of the document itself *
though i don't have a problem with preaching to Muslim women on how to become better people, it really and truly (i mean really and truly) bugs me when no such messages and preaching (at least not that i've noticed) are directed at men, and therefore it makes it seem that women are blamed for the corruption of a society. a little too one sided and unfair! when are we going to see articles and "mass preachings" about kind treatment and rights of women! when are we going to see articles and "mass preachings" for men to get themselves in line cos i sure as hell know that men are equally as responsible for the "rifts" made in society.

I feel where you are coming from sisters. But to be honest, I don't take such articles and reminders personally, as I just see it as a reminder for myself. The website which this is taken from is a website aimed at sisters, made by sisters. So naturally the reminders will be aimed at us as well.

And regarding seeing preaching on kindness towards women, what do you mean? Have you not seen that issue addressed at all, or would you like to see it addressed more often?
