We have created all things in pairs, that perhaps you may remember' (Ath-Thariyat, 51:49)

'Whisper of Shaytaan, Temptation and it's cures'

Looking closer at the lawful and the prohibited aspects of Islam when dealing with interaction with the opposite sex. An in depth argument is put forward with the purpose of conveying the correct etiquette of Muslims, the benefit of such adhaab and the cures for the illnesses of the heart which arise from desires and lust.

One way of purifying the heart and avoiding temptation is marriage:

'There are three individuals that it is a right upon Allah to help them: The fighter for Allah's cause, A mukatib who wants to pay himself off, and one who seeks marriage for the purpose of preserving his chastity' (Ahmad, at Tirmithi, an Nasa'i)

'Closer than a Garment'

Outlines fundamentals of marriage including a guide to choosing a spouse, the benefits of marriage and the rewards of such a union.

'They are a garment for you and you are a garment for them' (Al-Baqarah, 2:187)

Marriage is given such a high status in Islam:

'When a person marries, he has (by that) completed half of his faith. Let him then fear and revere Allah in regard to the remaining half'. (at Tabarani in al-Awsat.)

Marriage is one of the biggest decisions one will make in their lives and is a command from Allah (swt) to mankind:

Marry the unmarried among you and the righteous of your male and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His favours. Allah is Bountiful and Knowing' (An-Nur, 24:32)

'Contract of Love and Mercy'

An explanation of the Fiqh of Nikaah. Covering the essential requirements of the marriage contract

"And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in peace and tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): Verily in that are signs for those who reflect" (Quran 30:21).

Conclusion? Marriage takes a lot of thought!

We hope you will attend to extend your knowledge on this important matter, Al Bukhaaree said: 'Knowledge precedes speech and action'

'Know that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, and ask for forgiveness of your Lord for your sins' (Muhammad, 47:19)
