Yeah man even the Brits agree that they cold hearted, its strange though, the cold heartedness seems to work between themselves.

Brothers and sisters from all over the world, i started this thread, but one of the reasons is that lets leave nationalism and lets just be Muslims. There is no superiority except through taqwa.

Yes, ma'sha'Allah the weather is beautiful and sunny here (so I'm in a good mood atm :)).

And one of the many beautiful facets of Islam is that it has erased all national and ethnic divisions, we are all brothers and sisters of one another whatever our background may be, Alhamdulillah.
 
Some people are genuine snobs. Some aren't. You just have to deal with it.

You can't really say someone is a snob unless you actually know them.

People think I am a snob at work because I won't sit and idly gossip with them. I've found the Muslim colleagues to be nastiest. Non Muslim colleagues don't seem to care one way or another.

I am not a snob though. I have too much going on in my life to sit and mingle with people I don't really have anything in common with.

I do know that Brits seem cold to some ethnicities who are more overtly demonstrative. But they are just as caring (or not) as anyone else. They just express themselves differently. As for arrogance... (smile) perhaps what you are noting is reserve?

Arrogant people are arrogant people. Period. They exist everywhere. Have you met Spaniards snobs? Venezuelan snobs? Kuwaiti snobs? Indian snobs? They are everywhere. But there are also nice people and sweet and kind. There are also majorly and I mean majorly religious Muslims who go to the masjid, pray, carry around prayer beads, recite the Quran and they are snobby and rude and just horrible people. They are all humans. But we know not what goes on in each heart, in each mind, or whether that person is generally nice all of the time and then the day that you met them, they had the worst day of their lives and ended up looking snobby and arrogant. [emoji39]

Also lets give everyone at least 70 excuses for the mistakes they make and then... More excuses. If our judgement was permanent, اللهُ have mercy on us because no one is perfect and we are all snobs, arrogant and rude. Allah sees all that we do, knows what we think and still has mercy on us!!!!

I think slush puppies go well given the diet of snow and ice.
