umrah?!

guys!
i was wondering if anyone could help! a bit of a silly query but.. i am looking to go umrah this year inshAllah, and was just wondering hows the best way to go about it.. can anyone recomend a good comany or something lol.. whats this i hear about going in groups?? also roughly does anyone know when the dates are.. i did say this might be a silly query.. please could someone point me in the right direction lol, i would be very grateful

You can go on Umrah at anytime you like. Except during the Hajj season that is, becoz the saudi govt. gives visas only for hajj during that time. Most people go on Umrah during the month of Ramadan so as to gain the additional merit of engaging in more prayers during that month.

Umrah Pilgrims will find it easier if they come in groups. These groups are organized by certain licensed travel agents. You can get the list of agents form the saudi embassy in your country. choose a good one and they will breif you on everything.

Its easier to go in a group because the agents take of the hotel and flight bookings, food, tour of the holy cities etc.
