Unknown word in the Quran/Bible?

Sometime last year outside my job, there was a bunch of church people preaching over a microphone for about an hour. During this time, they kept saying a word and I asked the people I worked with what that meant, and they said no one knows or something like that. I also remember hearing something similar on t.v about an Arabic word in the Quran where no one knows what it means.

Couple questions. What are these words? And does the word from the Bible have any significance to the word in the Quran? Anyone have any links with more info about this? Thanks

I can't think of any words that are unknown in the Bible.

In the Quran there are the initial letters that no one knows what they mean.
