How the mujahideen killed the American empire
an expert futorologist who predicted various world events such as the 1979 iranian revolution, various economic crises, the collapse of the soviet union, the tianamen square massacre, 9/11, etc. is predicted that trump is spelling the decline of the american empire, just as britain and france no longer have empires but are more isolationist republics which are still intact.

how did this happen?
a number of reasons.
after 9/11, militarism grew in the USA, thus leading to the US meddling in various world affairs and weakening its own economy and internal stability and self governance abilities, thus paving the way for obama, who disappointed many but still continued the interventionism in some areas and discontinued anti-islamism in others....thus paving the way for trump's isolationism and poor temperament and emotional instability and lack of experience, since the american populace considered anyone better than the establishment
how are the mujahideen to blame?
they created a culture of fear, which led to an overreaction which led to a series of events....this process is described in detail in jihadist literature, such as "the management of savagery"
it appears the mujahideen have won....but that still leaves russia and china....however, economic mismanagement, corruption, and collapse as well as growing internal strife appears to be what will finish off the last two, as shown here:
