Around 2004, Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam al-Kawthari wrote a short answer on ‘Calling upon and Seeking help from other than Allah’ which Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam al-Kawthari retracted from about two years ago and subsequently removed from the website. Since then, many people have been asking him for an updated answer; and after much research, thought and consultation, here is his answer.
