Virtues of Reciting the Holy Quran

Could someone tell me more regarding the virtues of reading Surah Bakarah please? And any other verses or surahs which may protect my house from jinns inshAllah.

My daughter has been getting really bothered and has been saying she can see scary thing. I have taught her to say "bismillah" if she sees a "monster" then it will go away. She says that when she says "bismillah" they go away but I want to protect my house as much as possible. I have started praying in each room of the house too. My daughter's only 2 and its upsetting to think of her being able to see them
