The Noble Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless and grant him peace, said:--"The People are partners in 3 things: Water, pastures and fire". [Abu Dawud]
This Hadith lists water and energy resources as the communal property of all Muslims. They may be run by the State, but owned by Muslim Ummah and cannot be the property of any individual, family, corporation or Government. The Muslim Ummah today faces economic problems largely because of this one single rule of Allah's Shari'a not being applied...
