The following video shows children from Madinah Al Munawwarah welcoming Hajj pilgrims arriving at Madinah’s airport.
The video shows a Munshid (singer of Islamic songs) beginning by reciting some poetry about sending prayers upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him):
Thereafter, he begins singing the famous song ‘Tala’ Al Badru ‘Alayna’ which was reported sung to welcome the Prophet on his arrival to Madinah Al Munawwarah. Children lined up on both sides join in with the song whilst handing out gifts to the pilgrims. How wonderful!
