What are you most looking forward to in Jenna?

^^ there is no sleeping in Jenna, we'll be a different creation all together.. we won't be bound by the physical laws of earth nor its pleasures or woes.. I know it is difficult to wrap ones mind around that, we are only told of the best things of this world that we'd like but the word Jenna etymologically denotes that which is hidden from site, hence Jinoon or jinn, things that aren't clearly visible to the conscious mind..

Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens) will they enter, therein will they be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments there will be of silk (i.e. in Paradise).

I am not going to lie. I am most looking forward to the Hoor al 'ayn.
I want to see those "beautiful women" Allah promises us.
The thing about Allah is He knows everything and that includes how to make us happy.
And also, He can do everything that He wants to do. So put those together and He can
create you a woman so beautiful that looking at her tears will come down your eyes
because you will not believe what you see, and He can make that woman love you in return.....................well let's hope I get there.

Just thought I should bump up this amazing thread....

When I close my eyes and imagine about jannah I imagine a lovely house with a nice porch overlooking the most spectacular scenery with birds singing....no tensions...no deadlines to meet...you do the tasbeeh just for the pleasure of it....no jealousy....no taunting words....(to be continued.....)

And there is something else that I always think of...we will all(inshallaah ya rab) get to see all the mysteries of this world unravel - episode after episode ;D I hope you understand what I mean... wink wink :shade:

first of all, may Allah make us among the ones who enter Jannah.. I want to meet all the prophets, companions..especially Khalid bin Waleed (RadhiAllahu anh)..

I want to meet Dhul Qurnayn, Khidr, and other important people as well inshaAllah..After getting tired, I want all the hoors to line up. One at a time.

unfortunately some men believe that hoor al'ayn exist in the dunya.

it is one of the biggest tricks of the shayytan.

i would also like to remind the brothers that your wife in jannah will be more beautiful then all the hoors.

so treat her good and kind in this dunya even if she is not what you had expected she will be more beautiful for you in the next life and you will get your reward in full for being patient.

we must strive our very hardest for jannah inshallah this dunya is for working hard not for enjoying and getting what you desire.

this dunya is a test so don't fail it or you will be a loser

anyway back to the topic, i am most looking forward to meeting Allah if i get into jannah of course.

What I look forward to in Jannah? SubhanAllah, just the thought of it makes me excited. I could go on forever.

Okay, well here's what I can think of right now:
-Meeting Allah, (especially after reading the discription of ibn al Qayyim rahimullah)
-Meeting the Prophet Salal Allahu Alaihi wa Salam
-Meeting ALL the prophets Alaihim salam. :statisfie
-Meeting Maryam alaiha salam, Aasiyah, A'isha, Fatimah hadi'Allahu anha.
-Just seeing everyone happy.
-To drink from the rivers. ^_^
-Our House! Lol.
-What Allah swt has in store for us iA. :statisfie

But, of course, Jannah isn't easy to get. You got to work for it, seek it.

May Allah azawajjal take us all directly into Jannah. To the highest level of Jannah: Jannah al-Firdaws! :statisfie

The most exciting thing about paradise is obviously meeting GOD, to know the ONE who created us, us, to know why HE chose us among all the creation to be in the jannah, why he chose us in this world to be of the believers, why us????

And i imagine myself sitting infront of my lord and asking questions about the creation of earth, the purpose of it , the design, the system, the science involved the maths involved ( obviously only if maths and science had any significance at that time!!!), and everything that puzzles us today....
