Family member that is a repulsive liar? when everything said by the family member is a lie/excuse. Like a split personality type of person.

Because of this im so worked up even though im normally very calm

Lying indeed is a great sin.

What do you do? Refrain from dealing with that person... note... not severing the ties of kinship though.

Minimize the amount of time you spend with this person... or be paitent and make duah to Allah to help this individual.

Lastly, control your anger. It's easy to control your temper when you're calm.
