Most law students really struggle to become a Solicitor. I previously worked in the legal field as a Paralegal and it is so competitive. I think you should avoid it like plague unless you have a training contract in place before you commence your LPC. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH. It would be terrible if you complete your LPC but unable to qualify.
I know its pretty hard. I was thinking of doing the LPC part time, because alot of people struggle with it, a friend of mine dropped out :/ As for a training contract, someone has that sorted for me so all is well. All about passing the exam I have left now..![]()
LPC should not be too difficult. It's actually quite straightforward if you are able to cope with a Law Degree. I understand there is a lot of information to learn.
You should seriously consider a different career path. Firms are simply not recruitment as much as they used to. You are going to face so many rejections, unless you have experience.
If you have experience working in a law firm, then I believe you will have a chance. Six months experience should be sufficient, along with good grades.
Not trying to put you off, but something for you to consider before you commence on your LPC.
^ Lucky that you have a relative friend to help you out. Most law graduates do not have that support...
