Assalamu alaikum,

Isha starts at 10:45PM and Fajr starts at 3:50AM.

The problem is that, when I get to sleep, I wake up after Fajr is over, and I couldnt hear even the alarm clock.

What should I do in this case? Should I not sleep a whole night? Or what?

Let me Quote few hadiths:

“One who performs Isha’ prayer in congregation, is as if he has performed Salat for half of the night. And one who performs the Fajr prayer in congregation, is as if he has performed Salat the whole night.” [Muslim]

“And if they only knew what was in the prayers of ‘Isha’ and Subh [Fajr], they would come to them even if they had to crawl.” [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

“No Salat is more burdensome to the hypocrites than the Fajr (dawn) prayer and the `Isha’ (night) prayer; and if they knew their merits, they would come to them even if they had to crawl to do so.” [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

Sleep right after praying Isha, put three alarms at different places in your room to make sure you wake up at Fajr. Try to have a nap between zuhr and asr time, its Sunnah and will also help you catch your sleep. Taking a nap is one of the deeds of good people. It revitalizes the heart and helps one to pray qiyaam al-layl. In your case, you can pray Isha and Fajr only until days gets smaller and night get longer. I hope you find this helpful.
