this question may not be important as many other question but I noticed when a brother kissed his prayer-carpet after he finished his prayer. What is the ruling on that? What did our Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam used for prayer? We all know he was very modest and slept in a very shallow bed etc. How has he practice that in religious manners? He was not comfortable in regard to his sleep but was he comfortable in his prayer, for instance by using a soft mat etc?
