What time to eat before fasting

Can I eat at 4:45 and not before 5:00? I will not eat on 5:00 am. Is that right? I will wake up on 4:45 am to eat but not on 5:00 am. Is that right?
 
You are better off checking your local masjid prayer timetables. Generally speaking you can eat all day and night till fajar. Stop eating at fajar and fast until maghrib. Fast is opened with maghrib azaan. Jazaka Allah.
