What's Your Favourite Dua?

Assalamu alaykum,

I know many of us always have this dua which we like to say regularly, or a dua we have always liked the sound of.

InshaAllah we can share them here - there are so many lovely duas from the Qur'an and Sunnah, and honestly their wording is so beautiful. and the topics they cover just so important to us in our daily lives.

This is just a beautiful hadith to illustrate the beauty of dua: “Verily your Lord is Generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication) He becomes shy to return them empty (Ahmad, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi)”.

Among my favourites is the one in my signature:

Ya Muqallib al-Quloob, Thabbit Qalbi Ala Deenik
Oh turner of the Hearts make my heart firm on Your Deen
 
Glory be to Allah, you did not create this universe aimlessly, so protect us from the fire of Jahannam.
 
Sûrah Talaq 65-:2-3 Yajallahu Maharaja "Allah will create a way out for you and provide you from means you did not anticipate" Great story behind it in the Tafsir too. In love with the Dua. (last verse 2 and first verse 3)
 
Supplication while going to masjid

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا
وَفِي لِسَانِي نُورًا
وَاجْعَلْ فِي سَمْعِي نُورًا
وَاجْعَلْ فِي بَصَرِي نُورًا
وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ خَلْفِي نُورًا
وَمِنْ أَمَامِي نُورًا
وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ فَوْقِي نُورًا
وَمِنْ تَحْتِي نُورًا
اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِنِي نُورًا

'O Allah, place within my heart light,
and upon my tongue light,
and within my ears light,
and within my eyes light,
and place behind me light
and in front of me light
and above me light
and beneath me light.
O Allaah, bestow upon me light.’
 
Brader Ahmad said:

I was just going to post this dua, subhanAllah.

Such a wonderful dua spoken by our Prophet :saws:
 
I make dua for our last deeds to be our best deeds and for our last words to be "la ilaha illallah Muhammadur Rasulullah" (s.a.w.)

Don't know if there's such or similar ones in the hadeeths in arabic.
 
“Whoever asks Allah sincerely for martyrdom [Allahumma inni as’aluk ash-shahadah], Allah will cause him to reach the status of the martyrs even if he dies in his bed.” [‘Sahih al-Bukhari’; # 1909]’
