salaamz.

just a random thread.

i was just wonderin where do y'all shop for ur islamic clothes? (ie. for ur hijaabs, jilbaabs, abayas... jubbas, galabiyyas etc)..
 
India!!!!!!!!All my things come from there(surat).........n couple occasionally from pakistan...........sometimes frm London..........but most of its from India....

same here! i liv here so i get all my stuff 4rm here but yeah i do also get a few things frm pak!!!!!!!!!

for islamic clothes itll be uk saudi dubai and one or two things from egypt
 
we call our abayas jubba/jilbaabs here......jubba most comman......so it really confuses my dad as we not frm here (moved)

well jubbas and galabiyyas are mens clothes.. so not really lol.

i buy mine from local mosque, they have really nice daffah, al aseel amd al haramain thobes and my other source is straight from saudi

maybe its the place im living.....it confusing things being called different in different places.......

frgot to add my jubba/jilbaab/abayas also come frm saudi n some of my scarves.........(rectangle ones)

cool stuff.. i get my casual jilbaab tailor made.. and ones for special occasion from saudi.. or a store called arabian nitez.

the only thing i get tailor made is my bisht, hoping to get another bisht for next eid, and take it to the tailors

aw sister arabian nights is a great shop for jilbabs , and very expensive! lol
i like going to zam zam but not for clothes, i get mine tailor made just the way i like it. because other ones are so big and long that i trip up. i occasionaly get some as gifts from saudi. :wub:

yer they can b very expensive esp if you get alot of work done on them.. but they do do jilbaabs for reasonable prices too thou.. like just before eid i brought this really nice one for just 45 pounds

But sometimes I get some clothes from Zamzam in East London, Green street.

But usually from Tooting as well, a shop called Lebas and some other ones
