where is the compassion
where is the mercy
it is just I, or do people possess no hearts?
no hearts to feel with
no hearts to sense the tears
no compassion towards others
why is it that i see no mercy?
not a sense of empathy,
heck not even an emotion of sympathy
as if those around them have been cut from a tree,
that is how a person is, without mercy
don't people have hearts
i wonder, what souls do they posses
as upon a heart, their grip tightens
suffocating. gasping. from a narrow hole, the heart gains its air.
fighting. struggling. nay just barely breathing
and yet still, silence, they show no mercy
whilst the people suffer and deal with an eternal death
whilst the people suffer and wait and pray for an "eternal resurrection"
how much more do they expect from one who gasps for air
how much more do they expect from one who suffers in silence...
